General terms for ordering, payment, production, delivery and return of NP Studio works. The website serves as a showcase of artist-made jewelry and objects, while each order is agreed directly with the buyer.
NP Studio is an artist’s studio where every piece is made by hand. The website presents ready-made works, archive pieces, prototypes and directions for custom orders.
The publication of a photograph, description or estimated price on the website does not mean that the specific piece is available for sale. Many works are archival or have already been sold. In that case, a new work inspired by the selected piece can be discussed.
An order begins with a personal message. You can write through the custom-order page, Telegram, VK or email.
To begin, it is usually enough to indicate a work or direction you like, the required size, preferred stone or color, approximate budget and desired deadline, if important.
The terms of a specific order are considered agreed after discussion of the piece, size, price, payment method, delivery and the main production parameters.
If a piece is ready and available for sale, it is paid for before shipping. After payment is received, the piece is prepared and handed over to the delivery service.
A ready-made work is usually shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received, unless another period is agreed separately.
A custom work is not an exact copy of an earlier piece. A new piece can be made inspired by a selected ring, form, stone, texture or direction.
Prepayment is usually not required for custom work: the piece is made first and shown to the buyer in photographs or video. If the buyer is satisfied with the result, the piece is paid for and shipped.
Exceptions may apply to complex, expensive or non-standard orders: a rare stone, expensive material, high weight, complex construction or a technically risky task. In that case, the need for and amount of prepayment are agreed before work begins.
An estimated price on the website indicates the general price range, but the exact price of custom work is determined after discussing size, weight, stone, material, complexity and timing.
Once agreed, the price is fixed. It may change only if the buyer changes the request itself: size, stone, material, form, scope of work or other material parameters.
Available payment methods are agreed personally. For international orders, the payment method depends on the technical possibility of making the transfer when the order is placed.
If no prepayment was made for custom work, the buyer may decline it before payment if the finished piece is not suitable.
An unpaid piece remains the property of NP Studio. The studio may refine it, alter it, dismantle it or offer it to another buyer.
If prepayment was agreed for a specific order, the terms of its refund or credit are determined separately, taking into account costs already incurred and the requirements of applicable law.
Delivery is available within Russia and to other countries when shipping to the relevant destination is technically available. The delivery method is agreed before payment.
Delivery cost is paid separately by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed for a specific order.
After the parcel is handed over to the delivery service, the buyer receives a tracking number or another available tracking method.
More about payment and deliveryFor a non-defective ready-made piece purchased at a distance, the buyer may cancel the goods at any time before delivery and within 7 days after delivery.
If written information on the procedure and time limits for returning non-defective goods was not provided to the buyer at the time of delivery, the cancellation period is 3 months from the date of delivery.
To return non-defective goods, their saleable condition and consumer properties must be preserved. The absence of a purchase document alone does not prevent the buyer from proving the purchase by other evidence.
Non-defective goods with individually specified properties that can be used only by a specific buyer cannot be returned solely because the buyer changes their mind. This restriction does not affect the buyer’s rights in the event of a defect or non-compliance with the agreed terms.
Goods purchased at a distance may be returned remotely, including through a carrier or postal operator, provided the condition of the returned piece can be inspected after receipt. The buyer bears the cost of returning non-defective goods and the risk of accidental damage during such transport until the goods are handed to the seller.
The amount paid for returned non-defective goods is refunded within the period established by the laws of the Russian Federation, less the seller’s costs of collecting the returned goods from the buyer where such a deduction is permitted by law.
If a piece is found to be defective or does not comply with the agreed characteristics, the buyer’s rights are governed by the consumer protection laws of the Russian Federation.
If a piece or its packaging arrives damaged, please notify NP Studio as soon as possible and attach photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, the piece and the damage.
The request to report shipping damage within 24 hours is intended to promptly record the delivery circumstances and work with the carrier; it does not limit the buyer’s statutory rights.
Tool marks, surface irregularities, patina, changes in metal tone, asymmetry, handmade texture and slight differences in form may be part of the artistic design and are not defects in themselves when they correspond to the photographs, video and agreed description.
Natural stones may have inclusions, small cracks, color variations, irregularities and individual forms. These characteristics are taken into account when a specific work is described and agreed.
If a manufacturing defect is found, repair, replacement of an element, price reduction, return or another lawful form of resolution is determined after inspection of the piece and in accordance with legal requirements.
Damage caused by impact, a fall, strong pressure, exposure to chemicals, improper cleaning, storage or use is assessed separately and may not be considered a manufacturing defect.
NP Studio photographs, texts, product designs and visual materials are protected by intellectual property law. Their use for copying pieces, production, advertising or sale is permitted only with the rights holder’s consent, unless otherwise expressly provided by law.
NP Studio does not accept orders for exact copies of other artists’ jewelry.
