NP STUDIO / ABOUT

I am a metal artist.

I make jewelry by hand as small objects where form and stone are only part of the work. Surface, tool marks, fire, patina and the feeling of a piece that cannot be repeated exactly are just as important.

01

Not classical jewelry

NP Studio is not built around polished shine, perfect symmetry or the usual idea of a jewelry piece. I am interested in texture, tension of form, dark patina, stones, traces of fire and the feeling of an object that is not easy to place into a familiar category.

It can be a ring, a pendant, a bracelet or another small object. The name is less important than how the piece works on the hand, near the body and in space.

02

History

I started making jewelry in 2016. At first I worked with copper and brass, then moved to silver. Since 2020, sterling silver has become the main material of my work.

Over time, I became less interested in jewelry as a neat accessory. I became more interested in the piece as an object: with its own surface, character, mistakes, weight, inner logic and visible traces of handmade work.

03

Materials

The main material is silver. I work with metal texture, patina, soldering, folds, reticulation, tool marks and manual surface treatment.

Natural stones, glass, brass, porcelain and other materials may appear in the work when they fit a particular form and do not turn the piece into an ordinary decorative object.

04

Jewelry as an object

It is important to me that a ring does not look like something that can be placed into a ready-made category. Sometimes it is closer to a small sculpture. Sometimes to a fragment of a mechanism. Sometimes to a surface where a line, a stone, a trace and an accident remain.

That is why I do not try to make exact repeats of old works. A new piece can be made by reference, but it will still be different.

05

One-of-a-kind works

Most pieces exist as one-of-a-kind works. Even when an idea is repeated, the stone, size, surface, line, arrangement of details and final feeling change.

Older works on the site can be viewed as an archive and as a direction for a custom order. They show the language of the studio, but they are not a promise of an exact copy.

06

Custom work

A new work can be discussed by reference to an existing ring, a chosen stone, a form, a mood or a particular direction. To begin, it is enough to write which piece feels close to you, what size you need and what budget range is comfortable.
