A one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring with a hand-cut natural citrine and a pearl. The matte silver surface is finished with a diamond tool, leaving fine marks that sparkle softly in the light.
Description
The Lemon Crystal ring is handcrafted in sterling silver. A natural citrine sits at the centre of the composition. Cut and finished by hand, the stone has an irregular, asymmetrical form that cannot be replicated.
The citrine has a matte surface, making it read not as a conventional jewellery insert but as an independent object held within the silver structure.
Silver embraces the citrine from several sides. This setting makes the stone part of the overall construction rather than a separate insert in a conventional mount.
The silver is worked with a diamond tool, leaving fine marks that shimmer gently as the light moves while preserving the metal’s restrained matte character.
A pearl is set onto the citrine, bonded and additionally secured with a pin. Its colour is close to that of the silver, balancing the composition without competing with the stone.
Creating a related piece
This ring is a prototype. An exact replica is impossible because the citrine was cut by hand and has a unique form.
A related composition can be created with another citrine or a different stone, a pearl in another shade, or a new balance between the elements.
