Geometric Flowers
A silver ring with a faceted amethyst and two large metal crystals, forming a geometric flower on a rectangular shank.
Description
“Geometric Flowers” is a handcrafted sterling silver ring centered on a faceted crystal-shaped amethyst.
Two silver crystals formed from sheet metal surround the stone. The smaller has seven facets; the larger is assembled from eight sides.
These elements suggest flowers without using soft natural forms: the flower is constructed through geometry, facets and metal structure.
The ring is built on a rectangular shank with rounded edges. Although the upper section rises noticeably, the composition remains balanced on the hand.
This is a large, striking piece defined by silhouette, height, faceted form and the combination of a real stone with silver crystals.
Commissioning a Similar Piece
A new piece can closely preserve the overall character, silhouette and composition, though every ring will differ slightly because the silver crystals are formed by hand.
For a custom commission, the stone can be changed, decorative elements added, or the construction simplified to a single large silver crystal.
The proportions of the metal crystals can also be changed for a quieter or more expressive composition.
