Description
“Geometric Flowers 2” is a prototype ring handcrafted in sterling silver. It continues the geometric-flower theme with a different composition and arrangement of elements.
Two silver flowers sit at the top. Their form recalls small tulips, yet they remain geometric objects constructed from metal rather than naturalistic flowers.
A rectangular jade setting adds a calm green accent and anchors the form within a stricter architectural logic.
The shank is rectangular. Italian patina makes the relief, edges and recesses read more clearly.
The piece is highly dimensional without becoming randomly decorative. Its key elements are the repeated metal flowers, rectangular setting and contrast between a living botanical theme and rigid geometry.
Recreating the Piece
A similar piece can preserve the essential character: two geometric flowers, a rectangular setting, patina and a rigid silver form.
