Description
“Construction” is a sold handcrafted sterling silver ring featuring two stones: green jade and red jasper.
The ring is built as a strongly projecting form. Rather than resembling a conventional stone setting, the stones are integrated into the structure and work together with the metal elements.
One important fragment is a surface made of embossed strips. It adds rhythm, rigidity and the feeling of a precisely assembled architectural detail.
The silver is patinated. The darkening emphasizes the relief, recesses and transitions between the stones, strips and main form.
The piece feels like a complete object with its own logic, so major structural changes would be inappropriate. A related custom piece inspired by this form can still be discussed.
Commissioning a Similar Piece
An exact repeat is impossible, but a similar piece can preserve the projecting form, constructive logic, patina, stones and embossed metal elements.
Major changes would compromise the completed structure, but other stones, minor proportional adjustments or a new piece inspired by this form can be discussed.
A client’s own idea can be integrated into a new construction without mechanically reproducing this piece one-to-one.
