Picture with Lines
A picture ring with chrysoprase, kyanite and agate. The composition explores geometric abstraction, changing line directions and accents of color.
Description
“Picture with Lines” is a ring conceived as a small geometric composition worn on the finger. Its mood is close to geometric abstraction and the visual language of the Bauhaus.
The ring is built from three textured plates. The lines on each plate run in a different direction, so the surface is composed of several distinct rhythms rather than a single calm plane.
Three inlays—chrysoprase, kyanite and agate—complete the composition. The stones act as points of color that hold the eye and connect the metal planes.
The result feels less like a conventional gemstone ring and more like a small painting translated into the form of jewelry.
