Description
“Blue Stone in a Frame” is an archival NP Studio piece in sterling silver. Its upper section is a rectangular composition with a stone in a metal frame.
Different surfaces surround the stone: folded metal and cylindrical lines. This keeps the strict geometric frame from feeling static.
The stone draws attention to the center, while the surrounding lines and textures create the feeling of a small metal painting.
This is an archival prototype. A related ring can preserve the principle of the frame, stone inlay and contrasting textures.

A similar piece can preserve the rectangular frame, stone inlay, folded surface and graphic lines.
For a custom commission, the stone, size, frame proportions, line arrangement and intensity of texture can be changed.
