Description
“Chaotic Lines” is a handcrafted sterling silver prototype. Its upper section is not a flat platform but a projecting wave formed by several metal lines.
The form looks as though the metal briefly became fluid, splashed and froze in motion. This arrested gesture is central to the piece.
The amethyst crystal is a vertical accent of color. Rather than making the ring conventional, it becomes part of the sculptural composition.
The lines gather into one form without becoming fully ordered, preserving a sense of chaos, movement and a living metal surface.
The piece is relatively light in weight yet visually prominent because of its projecting form and active silhouette.
Commissioning a Similar Piece
A similar piece can be made, but its form will likely differ. The hand-shaped metal is essential, so an exact repeat is impossible.
For a custom commission, the stone and size can be changed. The ring may be elongated, given more volume or made calmer in form.
