A sold custom ring in sterling silver with labradorite at the heart of the composition. Wire branches, silver beads, and the stone come together in a living handmade form.
Description
“Branches” is a custom-made sterling silver ring. The piece is sold, but it can serve as a direction for a new custom commission.
A labradorite sits at the center of the composition. Around it, silver elements made from wire and small beads create the feeling of branches, organic growth, and living movement in the metal.
The ring is made entirely by hand. Its form does not follow a rigid scheme: the wire is arranged during the making process, so it is impossible to precisely repeat the movement of the lines in advance.
For this reason, a new ring in the same direction will differ in the placement of its branches, lines, and small elements.
This version is Russian ring size 18 and weighs approximately 15 g including the stone. The central idea is to unite the labradorite with an expanding silver structure, rather than simply placing the stone in a classic setting.
Reimagining the Piece
An exact copy is impossible because the ring is assembled entirely by hand, and the movement of the wire is different every time.
A similar piece can retain the overall character: a central stone, silver branches, beads, and an organic wire composition.
A custom version can change the stone, proportions, size, the number of branches, and the density of the composition.
