Silver Flower
A small sterling silver flower ring without a stone. Every petal is formed by hand, while the beads at the centre act as metal stamens.
Description
“Silver Flower” is a prototype ring in sterling silver. There is no stone in this piece: the entire composition is built around the flower form and the handworked metal.
The ring is made entirely by hand. Each petal was shaped separately using textured hammers and forming hammers to create volume.
Silver beads were added at the centre. They suggest stamens and give the flower a livelier presence without excessive decoration.
This is a relatively small version of the flower ring. An earlier piece explored a similar idea at a larger, more cocktail-ring scale.
What matters here is not perfect jewellery symmetry but hand-shaped plasticity: the petals differ slightly, the form feels alive, and this keeps the ring from looking factory-made.
Recreating the Piece
A similar piece can preserve the overall character: a silver flower, hand-shaped petals, central beads and an open shank.
For a custom commission, the number of petals can be changed, the flower made larger or more voluminous, or the form kept quieter.
A stone can also be added to the composition. This would change the character of the piece while preserving the silver-flower idea.
