Description
“Simply Roses” is a prototype ring in sterling silver, shaped like a small basket of roses assembled into a dense composition.
The ring contains five roses. Every rose and every petal is formed by hand, so the piece never feels like a repeatable decorative pattern.
Roses, petals and small silver beads form a richly textured surface with a distinct Gothic undertone.
There is no stone. The expressive focus is the silver itself, its hand-shaped plasticity and the density of the floral structure.
An exact repeat is impossible. Even when preserving the idea, every rose must be formed anew, so each new ring will differ.
Recreating the Piece
A similar piece can preserve the idea: a silver basket of roses, hand-formed petals, beads and a dense floral composition.
For a custom commission, more roses can be added, their scale changed, or the composition opened up with more negative space.
An open shank can also be explored. There will be no exact match to the prototype because every rose is formed by hand.
