A large three-dimensional flower ring in sterling silver. Every petal is made separately and shaped by hand while heating silver plates.
Description
“Silver Flower” is a large ring in sterling silver. This handcrafted three-dimensional piece is built around the form of an open metal flower.
Each petal was made separately from silver plate using heat and hand-forming.
Because of this process, an exact repeat is virtually impossible. Even when preserving the overall character, the petals, volume and degree of opening will differ.
The shank is open. This version measures approximately 19 mm, while the open construction allows slight adjustment.
This is a larger, more voluminous version of the flower ring. It reads as an independent metal object rather than a conventional ring with a decorative motif.
Recreating the Piece
An exact repeat is virtually impossible because every petal is formed individually by hand.
A new piece can preserve the character: a large silver flower, voluminous petals and an open shank.
For a custom commission, the size, shank width and flower proportions can change, making the form quieter or more dramatic.
