Description
“Elongated with Labradorite” is a prototype ring in sterling silver featuring natural labradorite and a small cubic zirconia crystal.
This ring belongs to the latest collection. Its upper section is strongly elongated at approximately 45 mm, making the piece especially effective on a slender hand.
The silver surface was treated with fire, giving the metal a lively texture with irregularities, traces of heat and a distinctly hand-formed character.
The labradorite is raised above the main plane of the ring, creating the effect of a suspended stone separated from the surface by air.
Decorative lines and small springs reinforce the elongated form and connect the stones with the overall construction.
Italian patina emphasises the relief and fire texture, making the labradorite more expressive against the silver.
Proportion is central to this piece: the long form, raised labradorite, fine additional elements and overall tense silhouette.
